Summary

LLM summarizer keeps the 15-min analyst (ticker/map) and adds a daily recap at 23:00 America/New_York over the last 24 hours of scraped news.

  • Recap stored as article_summaries.kind=daily_recap (alembic 008_summary_kind)
  • HUD pins GET /api/news/summaries?kind=daily_recap (badge DAILY RECAP)
  • Map/summary/recap prompts focus on breaking important news and explicitly ignore futures, commodity tape, and routine market ticks
  • INCLUDE_FUTURES no longer injects prices into prompts
  • One recap per local day (override with NEWS_SUMMARIZE_FORCE=1)

at 23:00 America/New_York. HUD pins kind=daily_recap. Prompts ignore
futures/market tape.
